The creation of Exceptional Innovation in 2004 brought together a strong team of highly motivated, industry-savvy professionals with robust software development knowledge and practical, dealer-level experience in home automation.

Led by CEO Seale Moorer and fueled by the shared vision of merging home control and digital entertainment into a single, seamless experience, EI produces the family of world-class, standards-based home automation and entertainment software and hardware known throughout the industry as Life|ware.

From the introduction of its groundbreaking home control software in 2005 and partnerships with industry giants such as Microsoft, Intel and HP, to its collaboration with Disney in the Innoventions Dream Home in 2008, EI has consistently provided leading-edge technologies that expand the boundaries of what is possible when thoughtful innovation is placed in the hands of the consumer.
